Simon the Cowl

My sister, Caitie, recently bought a super cute "cowl" on Etsy and I was totally wanting it. I took a closer look at it the other night when we met for dinner and shopping at Trader Joe's and I decided to try to make one.

It was so easy! All I did was start with maybe 40 chains and then used two small skeins of Woolease gray yarn. Once I used up all the yarn and made sure it was long enough to wrap around my head a few times, I connected the two ends with a row of slip stitches. Here it is:







I'm pretty thrilled with Simon.
