I hemmed...I hawed...and alas, I started a blog.
Here you will find the ramblings of a hum drum mid western girl. I hope to write about the ways God is using me as I finish my last two years of college, stories from my 9th grade English classroom, and all those lovely, little things by which I am inspired to be organized and decoratively "quaint." Although my life usually seems uneventful, God is working and that's reason to be excited.
I chose the name "Grace and Peace" because of the Apostle Paul. He begins most
of his letters in the New Testament with the phrase, "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." What a wonderful thing to say to someone! Without God's grace and peace I would be lost. Recently, I have relied on both these gifts more than I ever have in my lifetime. We don't deserve either of these things, but God is willing to give them to us anyway. How great is our God!
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year (well, maybe a close second to Christmas) and as the leaves are changing colors, I am reminded of the beautiful canvas of artwork God has created for us. What a blessing to walk outside and enjoy the work of our Lord!
I hope you enjoy my future posts and the beautiful colors of fall!
grace and peace,
